Kennedy Named Chairman of Interface Board, Succeeding Hendrix
Atlanta, GA, March 15, 2024- On March 12, Christopher G. Kennedy was appointed chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Kennedy has served on the company’s board of directors since the year 2000, and he has served as lead independent director since 2017. He succeeds Daniel T. Hendrix in the chairman role. Hendrix will remain on the board of directors and serve as chair of a newly formed board committee focused on innovation and sustainability.
Kennedy is chairman of Joseph P. Kennedy Enterprises, Inc., a real estate development company. He was the president of MMPI (Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc., a subsidiary of Vornado Realty Trust based in Chicago, Illinois) from 2000 to 2012. He has served on the board of trustees of Ariel Mutual Funds since 1994 and has served on the board of directors of Knoll, Inc. since November 2014.
