Ken Peden Named Kronotex COO

Barnwell, SC, January 29, 2006--Kronotex USA has named Ken Peden to the post of chief operating officer. In his new position, Peden will be responsible for the entire scope of the Kronotex North American laminate flooring business including sales, marketing, distribution, manufacturing and product development. “Ken’s new role as COO of Kronotex USA will help facilitate the company’s plans to move forward with the integration of our flooring business and our Barnwell, SC facility,” said Norman Voss, Kronotex USA Holdings, Inc. chief executive officer. “His focus will continue to be on the growth and profitability of both our existing and future laminate flooring business.” Peden, whose passion for the laminate flooring business is obvious in his accomplishments, cites a combination of good salesmanship, smart marketing, distributor and retailer support as the key to a brand’s success. “I am committed to the continued growth and success of Kronotex USA,” said Peden. “I know what it takes to elevate a company to the next level; our marketing expertise, combined with the manufacturing support of the largest laminate flooring producer in the world has given us a platform to dominate the industry.” Peden joined Kronotex USA as executive vice president on June 1, 2006.
