Kelly Named Carpet One VP Member Relations

Manchester, NH May 31--Carpet One has named Sally Kelly to the post of vice president of Member Relations. Kelly joins Carpet One with over 29 years of experience in the floor covering retail industry. She began her career working as the Merchandising Manager for Dean’s Carpet One in Manchester, one of the first CCA Global locations. Prior to accepting this position, Kelly was the Vice President of Communications for Flooring America, another CCA Global floor covering cooperative. As Vice President of Member Relations for Carpet One, Kelly will be working closely with Carpet One retailers to increase communication within the cooperative, helping them to share ideas and best practices and to combine efforts as a team. Kelly will be based out of the Manchester, NH office and will report directly to Evan Hackel, President of Carpet One. "I’ve had the opportunity to work with Sally for many years, so I know that we are extremely fortunate to have her here to lead our new communications initiative," said Hackel. "She has a lot of experience in this field and possesses the skills necessary to create a new innovative plan to increase networking and communication for our 1,000 Carpet One member stores." In the past, Kelly has been a consultant and trainer for a range of companies in the home furnishings industry, including Mohawk, Lighting One, Home Depot and Carpet One. She was involved in the development of one of the most successful CCA Global training programs, Principles of Success, and has also helped to implement a sales professional certification program. Kelly graduated with a BA in Urban Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She now lives with her husband Doug and daughter Irene in Chichester, NH.
