Kelly Hudson, Founder of Image Carpets, Has Died

Rome, GA, August 18, 2025-Kelly Hudson, founder of Image Carpets, died August 17. 

Hudson started Image in January 1976. The company was known as a pioneer in the use of recycled polyester fiber for carpet. Image was acquired by Mohawk in 1991.

After the acquisition, Hudson moved on to endeavors outside the flooring industry.
