Kaivac Cleaning Systems Get CRI Approval

Hamilton, OH, July 31, 2008-Kaivac, Inc. said that all of its No-Touch Cleaning systems have been awarded the Seal of Approval from the Carpet and Rug Institute for carpet extraction.

The Seal of Approval rating is an honor given to manufacturers for their cleaning equipment that meet specific standards and criteria and have above-average test results including higher soil-removal ratings.

This is the first time a high-flow fluid-extraction or spray-and-vac-type system has received such an award for carpet extraction. With the simple attachment of a carpet cleaning wand, the Kaivac No-Touch systems can be used just like a carpet extractor.

According to Tom Morrison, vice president of marketing for Kaivac, the No-Touch systems were able to earn the Seal of Approval because the machines have advanced three-stage vacuum systems as well as a HEPA-filtered exhaust and blow systems to help protect the health of the user and building occupants.
