Judges Named for Coverings Spectrum Awards

Alexandria, VA – January 26, 2006--A panel of judges has been recruited for the 2006 Spectrum Awards, honoring outstanding achievements in the use of ceramic tile. The annual competition awards prize money totaling $18,000 and culminates with an awards presentation on April 4, at the opening ceremony of Coverings 2006. The four-day expo and conference takes place April 4 – 7 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Among those serving on this year’s panel will be renowned design journalist Wendy Goodman, whose masthead credits include interior design editor of New York Magazine, style editor of Departures and contributing editor of Elle Décor. She will be joined by Jennifer Adams, editor for the past nine years of both Stone World and Contemporary Tile and Stone magazines. Other judges include representatives from Coverings’ sponsoring organizations: Christine Abbate representing Assopiastrelle, Shannon Woodmansee of the Tile Council of North America and Mary Anne Piccirillo representing ASCER.
