Jobless Designers To Get Help from Mohawk Group
Calhoun, GA, March 23, 2009--The Mohawk Group in sponsorship with the International Interior Design Association will host a series of events for out of work architects and designers called "Re:work."
The events, to be held in major cities throughout the U.S., are designed to help out-of-work architects and designers get back to work.
"Just like so many industries, the architecture and design community is fighting severe business slow-downs, layoffs and even firm closures," said Al Kabus, president, The Mohawk Group.
The free, day-long workshop and seminar-style events will provide opportunities to work with experts on resume writing, financial planning, interview skills and career coaching, while offering constructive industry insight from architects and designers.
The events -- to be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. -- are currently scheduled for six cities with additional locations and dates to be announced. Participants must register to attend.

The resume writing, financial planning, interview skills and career coaching resources are being provided through ComPsych Corporation, a provider of global employee assistance programs.
