J&J/Invision Using Backing Made With Lomax Process

Dalton, GA, Aug. 4, 2008--J&J / Invision said it is partnering with Dow Chemical to produce latex backing created with Dow's Lomax Technology, whichy uses landfill gas as renewable energy.

Carpet backing latex produced with Lomax should reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 27 million pounds annually from local landfills, J&J said, or the equivalent emissions of  2,300 cars per year.
