J+J/Invision Backings Get NSF-140 Certification

Dalton, GA, May 5, 2009--J+J/Invision said that three of its backing systems have received NSF-140 cerftification.

All eKo modular backed carpets have been awarded Platinum certification while all PremierBac Plus and TitanBac Plus broadloom backed carpets are now Gold certified.

NSF 140 recognizes sustainable carpet on three performance levels — silver, gold and platinum — using a rating system for performance and quantifiable metrics in public health and environment, energy and energy efficiency, biobased or recycled materials, manufacturing, reclamation and end of life management.
