J&J Industries Acquires Templeton Hospitality
Dalton, GA. Dec. 13, 2010 -- J&J Industries said it has acquired Templeton Hospitality Carpet, located in Dalton, and is rolling out a new hospitality brand called J&J/Templeton.
Templeton, established in 1974, manufactures and supplies carpet to the hospitality market, with a focus on public spaces, guest rooms, and corridors.
The acquisition of Templeton Hospitality, J&J said, significantly expands the company's resources to deliver a comprehensive commercial soft surface offering that can satisfy any contract customer.
Also, J&J/Templeton will be one of the few hospitality brands that is vertically integrated with full manufacturing and quality control, J&J said.
Steve Hillis will lead J&J/Templeton sales, marketing, and design teams for J+J/Templeton, while Gary Horton will lead all production-related operations.
“We are excited to enter the hospitality carpet market with a proven brand like Templeton,” said J&J CEO David Jolly.
“With J&J’s many resources and Templeton’s segment expertise, we are confident we have the solid foundation to build J&J/Templeton into a significant player in the hospitality arena with high-styled broadloom and modular carpet offerings.”
J&J/Templeton will continue operations at its current location in Dalton. However, the company will have access to the many manufacturing resources of J&J Industries, including fiber extrusion, yarn processing, broadloom and modular finishing.
