J+J Expands Helping Hands Initiative to More Cities in 2025
Dalton, GA, December 5, 2025-J+J Flooring’s Helping Hands initiative, in its ninth year, has been expanded to more cities this year.
Each November and December, designers and flooring professionals team up for a spirited competition, creating themed Christmas trees filled with kid-friendly magic. These festive trees are then donated to children’s hospitals and nonprofits, spreading joy to kids and families who need it most.
For 2025, the initiative will reach even more communities, with events taking place in over 20 locations nationwide, including Alabama, Atlanta, Hawaii, Nashville, Charlotte, Phoenix, Houston, Minneapolis, Portland, Dallas, Boston, Indianapolis, Wisconsin, Chicago, Austin, Des Moines, Philadelphia, Kansas City, San Diego, Buffalo, Boise, and Sacramento. In 2024 alone, more than 1,150 trees were decorated and delivered, turning hospital corridors and patient rooms into joyful holiday escapes.
But the impact goes beyond decorations. Many teams include toys, games and other surprises in their designs, giving children gifts that last long after the tree lights fade. At the end of the program, J+J Flooring representatives and local designers personally deliver the trees. Kids and families are invited to explore the holiday “forest,” choose their favorite, and bring it back to brighten their room.
