James Halstead Buys Large Plant
Oldham, England, Feb. 10, 2009--A massive 286,000 square foot site in Oldham has been purchased by flooring giant James Halstead in a $7.8 million deal.
Halstead will occupy the building after a refurbishment. It employs 850 people worldwide, with almost 500 at its headquarters.
Rick Davies of Davies Harrison, joint selling agents, says: "This is a great deal in a time of economic uncertainty. Halstead had been searching for a new building for more than four years and identified this facility, which suited its requirements."
