Dalton, GA, August 5--Wool carpet manufacturer J. Mish Inc. has named Bob Van Order executive vice president.
He replaces Steve Couch, who has resigned. Van Order has spent the past 15 years in wool carpet manufacturing, most recently at Glen Eden Wool Carpets.
J. Mish was started two years ago by Jack Mishkin, who is best known for his long career in the commercial carpet industry, first as co-owner and head of product development for Bentley Mills and later in the same capacity at Monterey Carpets.
Mishkin says the hiring of Van Order is the first step in the firm’s multimillion dollar plan to expand the J. Mish brand of high end wool carpets for the residential market.
