Beijing, China, June 24--Invista, the world's largest integrated fiber, resin and intermediates company, now is seeking to escalate its partnership with Chinese companies to promote business, according SinoCast. The report was attributed to a company official.
With thousands of patents and some well-known products, Invista' s operations currently cover five fields, including garments, interior decoration, special fibers, and polymers.
Last year, Invista was divorced from DuPont, a leader in the polymer industry, and then was acquired by Koch Industries, Inc., the second-largest private company in the US. Over the past years, Invista poured an additional investment of USD 500 million worldwide, a large proportion of which went to China and the Asia-Pacific regions.
Invista, after its independence from DuPont, has begun to change its China strategy and look for new business opportunities. China's market is the fastest-growing one in the globe. In particular, its clothing and fiber sectors play an important role all over the world. Therefore, Invista would continue to collaborate with Chinese companies to produce better products, the source added.
