Invista Seeks Entries for Antron Innovation Award

Atlanta, GA, March 18, 2009-- Invista is seeking entries for the 9th Antron Carpet Fiber Product Innovation Award. The deadline is May 15. 

The Product Innovation Award honors carpet mills whose products excel in style, aesthetics, color and usage in the marketplace. The entries for this award will be judged on creativity, design and originality, as well as the techniques used for the carpet’s design.

This year, the awards ceremony will be held during NeoCon, and visitors to the Antron brand showroom ( will have a chance to vote for a People’s Choice award among the winning styles.

Judges include Kyle Barnes, research specialist, Walt Disney Imagineering; Susan DiMotta, principal, Perkins Eastman; Lori Kolthof, director of resources, FRCH Worldwide; Jaime Velez, principal, SOM; Melissa Yu, director of interior services, Page Southerland Page.

Winners will be announced in a ceremony June 14.
