Invista Names Global Sustainability Manager

Kennesaw, GA, Feb. 24, 2010--Invista Performance Surfaces and Materials, maker of Stainmaster and Antron carpet fibers, has named Derek Young global sustainability manager.

Young has expertise in climate change, resource consumption, and waste. He has worked with many government agencies including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the National Governors Association, the U.S. Conference of Mayors, and national associations such as the U.S. Green Building Council.

He was previously with Aggregate Industries, as well as The Global Environment & Technology Foundation and The National Association of Water Companies (NAWC).
