Invista Launches Stainmaster Cushion with Moisture
Atlanta, GA, July 21—Invista has announced the introduction of Stainmaster carpet cushion.
The new carpet cushion coupled with Stainmaster carpet provides powerful protection system against spills, pet accidents and wear and tear from foot traffic, according to the company. The new cushion makes it easier to clean up a mess and prevents spills from seeping through the cushion to the sub floor where they can cause damage.
When a homeowner uses both products, the homeowner will receive an extended warranty on the carpet. Stainmaster carpet cushion, produced in partnership with Carpenter Company, is the only carpet cushion featuring DuPont Hytrel, a breathable moisture barrier that keeps spills on top of the cushion where they can be removed by extraction cleaning.

The new cushion with the breathable moisture barrier prevents liquids from soaking into the cushion and sub floor where they can cause damage and odors. Because the system breathes and allows vapors to escape, it can be used on any sub floor surface, including concrete.
Many Stainmaster carpet cushions also feature advanced odor guard technology to permanently and continuously eliminate odors in the carpet cushion. The technology is on the surface of the carpet cushion and activates any time it comes into contact with moisture by utilizing powerful enzymes that consumes and eliminate organic substances such as milk spills and pet accidents that can cause odor. While the enzymes are tough on odors, they are completely safe to humans and pets.
