Invista Appoints New Marketing Manager
Atlanta, GA, February 8, 2007--Invista Interiors said today that Melissa S. Noebes has been appointed marketing communications & brand manager for its commercial and transportation business.Noebes will be responsible for overall communications and brand management, including developing an integrated plan aligned with business objectives to increase awareness and preference for the Antron brand. She will also have responsibility for establishing and maintaining global consistency of identity standards and positioning the brand promise for Antron® carpet fiber.

Noebes brings more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience, in addition to managing and leading efforts in brand management, product positioning and market research. Before joining Invista, Noebes served as marketing communications manager for environmental products and services at General Electric, where she developed and executed global communications plans and brand management. Noebes also held prior positions with W.L. Gore & Associates as Marcom Leader/Industrial Products and Communication Matters, LLC, as director, where she worked with notable brands such as Campbell's Soup. Noebes began her career in communications at McKinney Advertising/Potter Hazlehurst. Inc. as Senior Account Director and later with Structure Probe/SPI Supplies Inc. as Marketing & Advertising Director.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Rhode Island in Journalism, Public Relations and Marketing.
