Interior Design Hall of Fame Inductees Announced
New York, NY, September 12, 2016—Interior Design magazine has announced the honorees of its 32nd annual Hall of Fame (HoF) Awards.
Selected by Interior Design editor-in-chief, Cindy Allen, and a nominating committee of previous HoF members, this year’s inductees include Anda Andrei of Anda Andrei Design; Brad Zizmor and Dag Folger of A+I; Isay Weinfeld; and a special leadership award to Cheryl S. Durst of International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
Hosted by Allen and Interior Design Publisher, Carol Cisco, the event will take place at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City on November 30.
This 32nd HoF celebration marks the last year that the Awards will be held in the Grand Ballroom at the Waldorf Astoria, as the hotel is closing the room shortly thereafter for a three-year renovation project.
As always, proceeds from the event are donated to not-for-profit organizations supporting the design industry. Once again this year, the awards will support the Council for Interior Design Accreditation and the Alpha Workshops. Past recipients have also included Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA), Architecture for Humanity, the International Interior Design Association and L’Aquila Temporary Concert Hall Through Shigeru Ban Architects.
