Interface's Hendrix To Speak at CFO Conference

Boston, MA, May 23, 2008--Daniel T. Hendrix, president and CEO of Interface Inc. will be a featured speaker at the upcoming CFO Conferences entitled Driving Financial Performance in Tough Times.

The event, aimed at senior-level finance executives in the industrial sector, will take place in Chicago on June 8-9. CFO Conferences is the events unit of CFO Publishing, the publisher of CFO magazine and CFO.com.

Appointed as president and chief executive officer in July 2001, Hendrix previously served as the company's CFO. He's seen Interface through two recessions, 50+ acquisitions, and a half dozen divestitures.

From 2001-2004 he steered the company through a 35 percent industry decline, weathering a $2 stock price and a volatile core market. His discipline allowed the company to maintain its vision for 2020 while at the same time executing on a survival and turnaround strategy that gained the respect of customers and Wall Street.

"We're pleased to have Dan Hendrix join our speaker faculty," said Julia Homer, senior vice president for Content at CFO magazine and CFO Conferences.

"He is uniquely qualified to speak on the topic of management during a challenging economy, and he also brings a perspective always compelling to our audience, that of a CFO-turned-CEO."

Driving Financial Performance in Tough Times will focus on cost and cash management strategies for manufacturing companies, wholesalers and others in the industrial value chain.
