Interface's Anderson Diagnosed With Cancer

Atlanta, GA, Jan. 21, 2010--Modular carpet maker Interface, Inc. said that founder Ray C. Anderson was recently diagnosed with cancer.

Anderson will be undergoing additional tests in the coming weeks to find out more about his condition and course of treatment, and he plans to continue in his role as non-executive Chairman, the company said in a press release.

Anderson founded Interface in 1973 and served as Chairman and CEO until his retirement as CEO and transition from day-to-day management in July 2001, at which time he became the company's non-executive Chairman of the Board.
