InterfaceFlor's Bandy Elected to USGBC Board

LaGrange, GA, Nov. 21, 2011 -- George Bandy Jr., vice president for sustainability for InterfaceFlor, has been elected to a three-year term on the board of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Bandy, who has been active in USGBC since the organization’s founding in 1993, has served in leadership capacities on both a national and local level.

A LEED Accredited Professional, he is former chairman of the Georgia chapter and on the National Social Equity Committee, the North Carolina Chapter Advisory Board and the Green Economy Board.
