Interface Names New Chief Operating Officer

Atlanta, GA, Jan. 14, 2015 -- Interface said it has hired a new chief operating officer from outside the company.

Jay Gould comes from American Standard, where he turned the business around and sold it.

Gould had a track record of improving margins at American Standard sharply while improving returns on capital, according to industry analyst John Baugh of Stifel Nicolaus.

Prior to American Standard, Gould was president at Newell Rubbermaid’s residential division, president of Graco, president of Pepepridge Farms, CMO at Minute Maid, and CIO at Coca Cola.
