Interface Moving Corporate Offices to Midtown Atlanta
Atlanta, GA, September 22, 2016—Interface plans to move its offices from Vinings to Midtown Atlanta, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution, consolidating its headquarters and two other corporate offices in a low-rise building that it will renovate.
Jay Gould, president and chief operating officer, said the site fit two important needs: a location at the center of the city’s design community and a direct link to transit. He said he plans to take transit to work and noted that the Midtown office will be an easier commute for many employees, either by road or transit.
About 150 to 200 employees will be based at the new offices, which will also include showroom space. The move to Midtown will also involve a regional headquarters and design center based in the Brickworks west of Georgia Tech.
