Interface Closes Sale of Fabrics Unit

Atlanta, GA, July 17, 2007--Interface, Inc.said it has completed the sale of its fabrics division, known as InterfaceFABRIC, to an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners, Inc.

According to previously disclosed terms of the agreement, Interface received approximately $63.5 million in cash, with potential for an additional $6.5 million in cash, subject to the division meeting certain performance metrics over the next six to 18 months.
