Washington, DC, April 10, 2025-In the week ending April 5, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 223,000, an increase of 4,000 from the previous week's unrevised level of 219,000, according to the Department of Labor.
The four-week moving average was 223,000, unchanged from the previous week's unrevised average of 223,000.
