Initial Jobless Claims Fall Last Week

Washington, DC, Oct. 31, 2013 -- Initial claims for unemployment benefits declined last week, according to the Labor Department.

Initial claims fell by 10,0000 to a seasonally adjusted 340,000.

Economists had expected applications to fall to 339,000.
