Initial Jobless Claims Fall Again
Washington, DC, Feb. 14, 2013 -- Initial claims for unemployment benefits fell sharply last week, according to the Labor Department.
Claims sank 27,000 to a seasonally adjusted 341,000 in the week ended Feb. 9, ahead of economists' expectations for a drop to 360,000.
The snowstorm in New England and New York may have prevented some people from filing unemployment claims.
