Initial Jobless Claims Edge Lower Last Week

Washington, DC, June 26, 2014 -- Initial jobless claims declined by 2,000 last week to 312,000, according to the Labor Department.

TThe four-week average rose 2,000 to 314,000.

The average has decreased 9% the beginning of the year.
