Initial Jobless Claims Declined by 10,000 in Week Ending June 21

Washington, DC, June 26, 2025-In the week ending June 21, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 236,000, a decrease of 10,000 from the previous week’s revised level, according to the Department of Labor. 

The previous week’s level was revised up by 1,000 from 245,000 to 246,000. The four-week moving average was 245,000, a decrease of 750 from the previous week’s revised average. The previous week’s average was revised up by 250 from 245,500 to 245,750.
