Eureka, California, September 30--A flooring industry delegation representing a dozen firms from the U.s.and Canada is headed to the fifth China International Floor Coverings & Carpet Fair being held at the Chinese International Exhibition Center in Beijing Sept. 27-30, according to the Eureka Reporter.
The group is sponsored by the Chinese International Exhibition Corp. and organized by Dave Spreen, president of Dave Spreen Enterprises Inc.
In addition to participating in opening ceremonies and evening reception at the Radisson Hotel, a special meeting has been arranged with exhibitors at the show. A table has been reserved for each company in the industry delegation. About 120 exhibitors have been informed of the meeting and given a list of each delegate's interests based on registration forms they submitted. Interpreters will be available.
Companies represented by members of the delegation are: CCA Global Partners; Ellis USA/Bamstar Bamboo; ETM Distributing; Golden Trim Enterprises Inc.; Green Flooring Group; JM Flooring Group, LLC; Kleist Inc.; National Hardwood Flooring & Moulding; PKF USA Inc.; Universal Hardwood Flooring; and US-China Associates.
Last year's show drew 150 exhibitors from China, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Sweden, USA, Malaysia, Mongolia and Hong Kong.
The four-day event attracted more than 12,000 domestic and overseas trade visitors to see a range of flooring products displayed in the exhibition hall.
Spreen organized a Humboldt County delegation to attend the 20th Hebei Economic & Trade Fair in Langfang City last October. Delegations are now being organized for Furnifair 2004 to be held Dec. 9-12 in Beijing and DomotexAsia Chinafloor 2005 scheduled for March 22-24 in Shanghai.
