India Carpet Expo Planned in February

New Delhi, India, Jan. 28, 2009--The 14th largest fiesta of handmade woolen, silk carpets, rugs and floorcoverings will be held from Feb. 12-15 in New Delhi, followed by Exhibition Buyer/Seller Meeting Feb. 16-17 in Jaipur.

The biggest extravaganza of carpets is organized by the Carpet Export Promotion Council under the aegis of government of India.

The only established Southeast Asia, the India Carpet Expo is an event for the manufacturers and exporters of India.

More than 300 overseas buyers are registered along with 190 exhibitors of hand made carpets and floorcoverings.
