London, England, August 14, 2007-M.B. "Bud" Seretean, founder and former CEO of Coronet Industries, died August 12 in London after suffering an aneurysm. He was also the former president and general manager of the Atlanta Hawks. Seretean was a philanthropist, author and member of the Oklahoma State University Hall of Fame, where he graduated in 1949. In 1965 he was named the outstanding small businessman in the nation. The Seretean Center of Health Promotion at Emory University opened in 1997 as part of his goal that Emory be the healthiest campus in the country. He also donated $3 million to set up the Bringing Dreams to Life campaign.
