Import Prices Rose 0.4% in April, Export Prices Rose 0.2%
Washington, DC, May 12, 2023-Prices for U.S. imports increased 0.4% in April following a 0.8% decline in March, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported.
Higher fuel prices drove the advance in April. The price index for U.S. exports rose 0.2% in April, after declining 0.6% the previous month.
