Import Prices Down 0.8% in October, Export Prices Down 1.1%

Washington, DC, November 16, 2022-U.S. import prices declined 0.8% in October, after increasing 0.4% in September, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. 

Lower fuel and nonfuel prices contributed to the decrease. Prices for U.S. exports fell 1.1% in October following a 0.5% rise the previous month.
