IIDA Opens New Headquarters in Chicago

Chicago, IL, November 15, 2007--The Headquarters of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) has relocated to The Merchandise Mart.

The new headquarters was designed  to earn Gold Certification under the United States Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Commercial Interiors (LEED-CI).

The new headquarters features products and materials that demonstrate that sustainable design can be both beautiful and functional.

The office features post-consumer and post-industrial recycled materials including carpet, upholstered wall panels, ceiling tiles, steel framing and office furniture. It also includes state-of -the-art meeting space for association events.
