IICRC Approves New Resilient Floor Maintenance Tec

Vancouver, WA, June 27--The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has begun development of a Resilient Floor Maintenance Technician (RFMT) course. The IICRC, at their annual spring meeting, gave approval for the RFMT course and appointed Stan Hulin, president/CEO of Future Floor Technology, Inc., to chair the technical advisory committee that will develop the course syllabus and examination. Hulin brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the floor covering cleaning maintenance industry. "I am very excited about the opportunity and look forward to developing the course, but I cannot do it alone," said Hulin. "It is important, almost imperative, that we get others the hard surface flooring industry involved." According to Hulin, all industry experts, cleaning professionals, IICRC certified technicians, manufacturers and distributors with a good working knowledge of resilient floor surfaces are welcome to be a part of the development of the course material.
