IFCII Offering Certified Commercial Carpet Inspector Training

Norcross, GA, July 18, 2025-The Institute for Floor Covering Inspectors International (IFCII) will offer its advanced commercial carpet inspection certification course in August. 

The two-day course, which runs August 18-19, will cover: 

• Moisture and substrate issues
• Yarn fiber types and construction
• Manufacturing tolerances and defect ID
• Installation issues-tufted, printed and woven
• Carpet tile
• Standards: CRI, ANSI, etc.
• Corrective and remedial solutions
• Micro sheering
• Determining cause: manufacturing, installation, maintenance or performance
• Report preparation and writing, and more
