House Prices Continue To Fall in January

New York, NY, March 27, 2012 -- U.S. home prices fell for the fifth month in a row in January to the lowest level since early 2003, according to the S&P/Case-Shiller index.

The house price gauge fell 0.8% in January from December.

Over the past 12 months, prices have fallen 3.8%. Sixteen of the 20 metro areas posted declines.
