Dollar Bay, MI, September 25, 2006--The nine day old strike at Horner Flooring in Dollar Bay has apparently ended. In a joint statement issued by the union and the company, the union has announced it will make employees available to the company as needed.
Officially the strike has been "suspended" and talks continue.
The action is in response to the anticipated support of a proposal that will be submitted to the union next Wednesday and a vote by the membership on the proposal on Thursday.
