Honeywell Offers Two New Yarn Options for Bath Rug

Dalton, GA, July 22--Honeywell Nylon is offering two new yarn options in which bath rugs made with Anso Soft nylon fiber can achieve greater coloration and styling effects. Using a three-level dye process, called the Monet color process, bath rugs can be developed in combination of light, medium and deep shades to create greater effects of softness, texture and depth. In addition, a new “sparkle” yarn is also available and can be used in combination with the Monet color process or as a stand-alone effect. According to Annette Callari, Honeywell Nylon merchandising specialist/designer and a member of the Color Marketing Group, these new options directly meet the color and styling needs consumers are embracing today. “Consumers are looking for upbeat, optimistic colors, as well as restful hues to create comfortable, but memorable interiors,” Callari said. “Solid looking color is becoming obsolete, and color exuding light from within is ‘in.’ Taking cues directly from nature, current color trends are embracing light. "Think of morning dew on lush grass; a lawn softly glazed with frost; the delicacy of a butterfly’s wings; then picture those drenched in sunlight. Suddenly, the colors come alive,” comments Callari. This is the color direction for the coming year and the fresh effects the sparkle yarn and Monet color process options can create. The Monet color process combines three shades of color to create a variety of hues while adding visual depth and texture to bath rugs. The new “sparkle” yarn adds a higher degree of luster and luxury, bringing the color alive and fulfilling contemporary consumer styling needs. "These new yarn options were developed in direct response to the current color trends consumers are embracing in the home interiors marketplace,” said Ann Merino, Honeywell Nylon merchandising and brand marketing manager. “Honeywell Nylon is in a great position to offer yarn variety and flexibility, while providing unique product benefits for both our mill partners and consumers.”
