Homebuilding Sentiment Unchanged in January
Washington, DC, Jan. 18, 2011 -- The National Association of Home Builders' housing market index was unchanged in January, as many builders remain pessimistic that home sales will improve anytime soon.
NAHB said that its index was unchanged at 16 for the third month in a row.
Readings below 50 indicate negative sentiment about the market.
The index for sales expectations over the next six months stayed put at 25.
