Fort Worth, TX, October 11,2005--D.R. Horton Inc., the largest U.S. home builder, said on Tuesday its quarterly organic net sales orders rose 33 percent to $3.8 billion, capping a year of double-digit percentage increases across the country.
New orders for homes in the fiscal fourth quarter ending Sept. 30 rose to 13,950 from 11,105 in the year-earlier quarter, the company said. Horton also said it had a record year-end backlog.
