Home Prices Rise in June

Washington, DC, Aug. 24, 2011 -- U.S. home prices rose a seasonally adjusted 0.9% in June, according to the Federal Housing Finance Agency index.

However, prices are down 4.3% in the past year.

The price increase in May was unrevised at 0.4%, the agency said.

Prices rose in seven of nine regions, led by a 3.3% gain in the Great Lakes states.
