Home Prices Continue To Decline

New York, NY, Feb. 22, 2011 -- Home prices continued to fall in a majority of major U.S. cities in December and hit their lowest levels since the housing crisis began.

The Standard & Poor's/Case-Shiller index fell in December from November in all but one of the 20 cities it tracks. The index fell 1%.

The damage now spreads beyond the hardest hit markets. In many places, prices are expected to keep falling for at least the next six months.
