Home Ownership Still Regarded as Good Deal
Washington, DC, June , 2011 -- The National Association of Home Builders said that a national survey looking at the value voters place on homeownership shows that most respondents still consider owning a home a good investment.
The survey examines attitudes on homeownership among current homeowners including those who currently owe more than their house is worth as well as renters, and asks about the biggest barriers to buying a home.
The survey was conducted by Neil Newhouse, partner and co-founder of Public Opinion Strategies, a leading Republican polling company, and Celinda Lake, president of Lake Research Partners, one of the Democratic Party’s leading strategists.
