Home Depot Q2 Sales Up 4.9%, U.S. Comp Sales Up 1.4%

Atlanta, GA, August 19, 2025-The Home Depot reported sales of $45.3 billion for Q2 2025, up 4.9% from Q2 2024’s $43.2 billion.

Comparable sales for Q2 2025 increased 1.0%, and comparable sales in the U.S. increased 1.4%.

Net earnings for Q2 2025 were $4.6 billion, flat with net earnings of $4.6 billion in the same period of fiscal 2024.

For the first half of 2025, net sales were $89.1 billion, a 7% increase from $79.6 billion in the first half of 2024. 

Net earnings for the first half of 2025 were $8 billion, a 2.2% decline compared to $8.2 billion in the same period last year. 

 Home Depot stated that 12 of their 16 merchandising categories posted positive comps including Storage, Bath, Hardware, Building Materials, Indoor Garden, Electrical, Kitchen, Outdoor Garden, Millwork, Power, Plumbing, and Appliances. Take notice that Flooring was one of the 4 categories that didn't perform well.
