Home Depot Names Senior VP
Atlanta, GA, Apr. 8--The Home Depot announced it has named Brad Shaw as senior vice president of Corporate Communications and External Affairs, a new position reporting to the company's chairman, president & CEO, Bob Nardelli.
Shaw joins The Home Depot from Gateway, Inc., where he has served as senior vice president of Corporate Communications. In that capacity, he was responsible for leading the company's corporate communications, employee communications, community relations, crises preparedness/response, product publicity and event management activities worldwide.
Prior to Gateway, Shaw was in a variety of communications positions for The Pepsi-Cola Company for six years, including Director of Worldwide Communications and Senior Manager, Communications, North America. He also served in Account Management roles for both Ketchum Public Relations and Doremus Public Relations in New York.
