Home Depot Gaining Marketshare, Citi Says

Atlanta, GA, April 6, 2009--Citi on Monday wrote that home improvement retailer Home Depot was gaining "mindshare and market share."

It said Home Depot was the strongest it had been in the last four years, driving consumers to save money by performing repair work themselves.

"In response, Home Depot is providing better service, increasing in-stock levels, and improving the store appearance," the firm wrote.
