Home Depot Chief Marketing Officer Resigns

Atlanta, GA, October 18, 2007--Home Depot said its chief marketing officer has resigned.

 

Roger Adams is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. He didn't elaborate on the reason, nor say what Adams plans to do next.

 

Adams joined Home Depot in February 2005 as senior vice president of marketing. The following year, he was named chief marketing officer.

 

Blake said that while at Home Depot, Adams oversaw numerous partnerships and programs, including the launch of the company's NFL partnership.

 

John Ross, vice president of advertising, has been named interim head of the company's marketing unit, Blake said.
